I’m Scared
I’m Scared is a directed self-portrait series exploring fear, vulnerability, and the embodied experience of living with Complex PTSD. Through an immersive installation combining photography, film, sound, spoken word, and scent, the work gives physical form to what often remains invisible, the anxiety, self-doubt, and constant state of alert carried within the body.
Rather than treating fear as something to conquer, I’m Scared asks what happens when we allow ourselves to face it, inhabit it, and give it space. The work transforms an internal and often silent experience into something that can be seen, heard, felt, and shared.
