The Tide That Calls Our Names is a directed photographic series with Black Crew on the shores of Zanzibar. Built around movement, rhythm, and the pull of the ocean, the shoot explores dance as a form of return to the body, to community, and to the island itself. Through choreography, portraiture, and shared motion, the series reflects on home not as a fixed place, but as something created through unity, rhythm, and presence.
